Brookhaven Elementary Library Info
The library is open Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m -3:30 p.m.
Check Out ProceduresStudents in grades Pre-K- 1st grade will check out 1 book. Students in grades 2nd- 5th will check out 2 books.
ScheduleStudents will visit the library every other week. Please check with your child's teacher for their schedule, so you know when books are due back to the library.
VolunteersIf you would like to volunteer, please feel free to stop by the school and fill out a volunteer application.
Damaged BooksWe understand that books may get damaged. However, if a book is damaged and we can't repair I, it will need to be paid for. Please contact us if your book is damaged.
Schlitterbahn Waves of PagesSchlitterbahn Waves of Pages will begin in November. Students who read for 10 hours and track it will be eligible for a Schlitterbahn ticket. More information to come.

Book FairOur book fairs for the year are scheduled on the following dates:
October 1-8, 2021 February 25- March 4, 2022 Penguin PatchSave the date and your coins! Penguin Patch Holiday Shoppe will be in December. Students will come to purchase items for their family members.
Lost BooksIf a student loses a library book, we encourage you to find the lost book. However, if you cannot find it, you will need to pay for it. Please call (254)336-1452 to discuss the best route. Thanks!
Library ProjectsPlease be on the look out for letters about various projects throughout they school year.
Six Flag Read to SucceedSix Flags Read to Succeed begins in October. Please be on the lookout for more information regarding Six Flags Read to Succeed. Students who read for 6 hours and track are eligible for a free ticket to Six Flags.
